Backpacks for Kids 2026-2027

We are being given an opportunity to donate school supplies or cash donations for kids through Backpacks for Kids. Each August around 600 backpacks are distributed to families for students in preschool through high school in Ellis County.

A list of items to donate is attached here and copies are located near the collection box which is on the foyer bench.  Thank you for your generosity to this worthy cause.

Distribution Day is August 6 & 7 at the Hays Recreation Leisure Center.

Registration forms to sign up for backpacks if needed is also available near the donation box.
